Philip Cloutier is an experienced mortgage professional with a diverse background in accounting, finance, and global experiences. Born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Dallas, Texas, Philip graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory School in 1986. He later attended Texas A&M University and Spring Hill College, where he earned a BA in Accounting in 1990.

After spending two years teaching English in Osaka, Japan, Philip returned to the U.S. to pursue an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston. Shortly after obtaining his MBA, he was quickly hired by Coral Energy, where he traded electricity, gaining valuable experience in the energy sector before transitioning to the mortgage industry.

In 1998, Philip co-founded America’s Choice Home Loans, LP, a correspondent lender that operated until 2023. His vast experience on the business side of originating, funding, and selling mortgage loans in the secondary market sets him apart from others in the industry. As a Loan Officer, Philip finds the most fulfillment in helping buyers achieve the American dream of homeownership. His in-depth understanding of the entire mortgage process and commitment to customer service has earned him the trust of countless homeowners.

Outside of work, Philip is a devoted family man. He and his wife celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary in December, and they are raising triplets, now in 7th grade. They enjoy attending church together and watching their kids play soccer on weekends. A sports enthusiast, Philip is an avid fan of the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys.

Philip’s passion for family, faith, and helping others achieve the goal of homeownership, are at the core of both his professional and personal life. Whether it’s helping clients navigate the mortgage process or cheering on his favorite teams, he brings dedication and enthusiasm to everything he does.
